I am normally a generous tipper and I dislike when a restaurant automatically add 20% to the bill without asking if the service was good, I believe that the customer should be the initial decider of the tip, not the restaurant. Price was probably a bit on the upper side but not ridiculous. Seafood was good and the scallops were very good.Ĭonclusion - I enjoyed dinner the food was very good the ambiance was nice, bathrooms were clean, service was good. I also realize that not everyone like spicy so I will not demerit the chef for the great job. I like a bit of spicy in my meals not to put my tongue or my exit in torture mode just enough and for me it had no spicy □. First the shrimp □ were large, perfectly cooked and delicious with lots of garlic □. ![]() I had the scampi therefore I can comment in more detail than the other entrees. Meals that we had was shrimp scampi, sea food with some kids of noodles, the lamb chops, fish with rice and a fish sandwich with fries. We thought that the conch dipped in the fish dip was way better than the provided dip that came with the conch.The conch was crispy and soft on the inside □□. We the had two appetizers the smoked fish and the conch both were delicious. We went early dinner so seating was easy with zero waiting. My family wanted to try some place new and we have been thinking about Frigates. This spot reminds me of a mini Erewhon in So.Cal but better bc of the attentive and knowledgeable staff. The Bistro upstairs offers tantalizing dishes and refreshing drinks with a chill vibe. Their Lobster □ Bisque blows away the ChartHouse's, and their Coffee and Gelatos are insanely delicious too. Djon's only carries WILD seafood, which we truly appreciate. He always provides excellent customer service and understands various dietary restrictions, and if something is tricky or unclear he ALWAYS finds the proper person to confirm. Also, Will in the deli is very patient and insightful. We enjoyed his new G/F Pasta salad creation: Sundried □, ⚫ olives and chickpea pasta, and his Shepard Pie is so incredible too. ![]() CHEF Mike gets down with his savory and delicious to-go options in the deli. Now, I am eagerly awaiting her G/F Chocolate torte w/Raspberry sauce (hint/hint). We enjoyed this week's Blueberry Lemon Tart, and Sugar Cookies. Pastry-Chef Sarah delights with her sweet and moist pastry options.
